Motorway Driving - Safety at
higher speeds
A practical course, in your own car, designed to give you
confidence in motorway driving techniques
This course has been designed for both newly-qualified
drivers and those with limited experience of driving on
motorways. We recommend a minimum of two hours training to
derive the greatest benefit from the course.
Our expert instructors will give you training which will
include the following:
• Joining and leaving motorways
• Dealing with service stations
• Safe and correct use of lanes
• Dealing with road works
• Safe overtaking techniques
• Maintaining safe following distances
The course will also cover issues such as journey planning
and dealing with fatigue.
We recommend that you review the Highway Code’s rules
on driving on motorways before attending a course.
